Bell Ringers- The first thing students do when they come into the classroom. Usually a question that will review the previous day’s material or introduce that days lesson.
Problem Based Learning- Problem based learning is a teaching strategy where students are given a problem and required to use their knowledge of content or through research come up with a solution.
Research- Students are given a topic and required to use the resources they have available in order to teach themselves about the topic
Lab- Students will be given experiments to perform on their own. This helps students to see the concepts they are learning
Lab Reports- After performing a Lab students will organize their results into charts, tables, graphs, and figures. They will also analyze their results and write about the significance of the experiment.
Collaborative Groups- Students work together in small groups helping each other and sharing their own experiences. Collaborative groups gives students the opportunity to build teamwork skills and share different perspectives
Presentations- Students put together presentations and then present them to the class. This helps determine a student’s understanding because they must research, create, and organize content.
Graphic Organizers- Students create different types of organization notes Such as color coding where a student highlights passages in text that they do not understand one color and passages they do with another color.
